Seogwipo (Jeju), South Korea

Seogwipo is your gateway to beautiful Jeju Island. As soon as you step foot on Jeju it will be easy to see why it’s often referred to as “The Hawaii of Korea”. Soaring Mount Hallasan, a dormant volcano covered in lush green vegetation dominates the stunning landscape which also features white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters and winding coastal trails. Visitors can hike up the mountain for breathtaking views of the crater lake near its summit or visit Cheonjeyeon Waterfall - known as the Pond of God. You can admire the falls from the Seonimgyo arch bridge, which offers a spectacular view of the surrounding rock formations and verdant parkland. Jeju's Sungmung Beach is also popular, nestled in a secluded spot surrounded by cliffs. Alternatively, visitors can explore Manjanggul Cave, an impressive underground lava tunnel.
