Meet your guide and lead driver at the port, who will explain the details of the panoramic drive. Join your 4x4 vehicle and follow the lead vehicle as you head along the main coastal road towards the island's north coast, passing the popular resorts of Alykes and Kontokali. Through Gouvia, the drive continues past the villages of Agios Vassilios and Ano Korakiana before taking a narrow winding road that passes through Sokraki. Perched on a mountain peak and surrounded by pine and olive trees, this is one of oldest villages on the island. The drive continues towards the village of Troumbettas, along a mountain ridge with spectacular views of the islands of Mathraki and Othoni that mark the northwestern tip of Greece. From Troumbettas, follow a narrow country lane passing by the villages of Alimatades, Vistonas and Makrades on the way to "Castellino" restaurant. Located high up in the village of Lakones, this restaurant is renowned for its breathtaking panorama view over the Bay of Paleokastritsa. Here, time to indulge in a typical Greek meze and a glass of wine. From Lakones, descend to Paleokastritsa Bay, also known as "Corfu's Capri": a natural harbor with a sandy beach that is entirely protected by a rocky cliff. According to Homer’s Odyssey, this is the bay where Odysseus was shipwrecked and where he met Nausica. From Paleokastritsa, return to Corfu port.
