Wildlife Park at Your Leisure: Take a walk on the wild side at the Territory Wildlife Park, set in 1,000-acres of bush and showcasing native Australian animals housed in their natural environment. There is plenty to see and do including the flight deck featuring magnificent birds of prey. View reptiles, dingoes, wallabies, and barramundi. Visit the aquarium with an underwater walk. Pass the rock hole and billabong exhibits featuring water monitors, freshwater crocodile, and turtles. Visit the Monsoon vine forest walk which provides an abundance of food to the birds that live in the large domed walk-through aviaries. See some of the common, rare and endangered native nocturnal animals of the region in the nocturnal house, many are rarely seen in the wild.
Requirements & Restrictions: Guests must be able to board the motorcoach unassisted.
What to Bring: Wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat, jacket, and biodegradable sunscreen. Bring bottled water and local currency for purchases.
Good to Know: Given the sheer size of the park it is recommended to see those exhibits that interest you most first. Show times at the Territory Wildlife Park are subject to change and cannot be guaranteed. A free shuttle train runs around the parks 4km loop road.
