Distillery Tour & Tasting: Discover the Scottish Highlands, a land of stunning natural beauty and home to Glenmorangie, Scotland’s favorite malt whisky. At Glenmorangie, the process of producing a fine range of malt whiskies remains unchanged and is deeply connected to the surrounding landscape. The pure, mineral-rich water comes from the distillery's own springs, and the best malted barley is sourced from surrounding areas. With over 150 years of experience, Glenmorangie has developed a unique range of whiskies that are steeped in tradition and craftsmanship. This guided tour will introduce you to the natural elements and the time-honored traditional skills that make Glenmorangie so special. You will see the swan-neck copper stills, the tallest in the Highlands, and the casks of American oak used in the various stages of the malt whisky processing. After the 45-minute distillery tour, enjoy a taste of Glenmorangie with a “wee dram”, experiencing the unique flavors of Scotland’s malt whisky.
Dornoch: Next, head to the town of Dornoch for approximately 30 minutes of free time before returning to your ship. This charming town retains its old-world dignity and offers a craft center, town jail, and cathedral with colorful windows.
