Coastal Highlights: Explore Limón, a province spanning 9,188 sq. km with a population of around 400 residents, many of whom are descendants of Afro-Caribbean Jamaicans brought to Costa Rica in the 20th century for railroad construction. After departing the port, journey through Limón's historic neighborhood, originally constructed by the first Jamaican settlers on stilts to combat challenging coastal conditions like swamps, landslides, floods, jungle fevers, and heavy rains.

Wildlife Observation: Enjoy a scenic drive with stunning views of the Caribbean Sea, palm trees, and the possibility of spotting sloths, monkeys, birds like egrets, herons, kingfishers, pelicans, as well as iguanas, flycatchers, road-side hawks, and black-shouldered kites along the way.

Banana Plantation: After a 30-minute bus ride, explore a rural tourism project with guided walks through banana plantations and key Costa Rican crops like coffee, cocoa, and bananas. Your guide will provide informative insights into these industries.

Shopping: AFinally, a brief stop will be made at a souvenir shop where you can purchase local souvenirs and enjoy some tropical fruits before returning to your ship.
