Cacao Trails: Both the Mayans and the Aztecs believed the cacao bean had magical, or even divine, properties, suitable for use in the most sacred rituals. Immerse yourself in the real Caribbean culture of Costa Rica brought into a unique experience. You will learn to transform cacao beans into delicious chocolate prepared by an indigenous woman, and during your walk you might be able to see howler monkeys, iguanas, sloths and several types of birds.

Cocoa Museum: At their small museum, travel back in time through artistic reproductions representing the lifestyle and history of the settlers of the area. See their orchid garden as well as their medicinal and herbal plants that have been cultivated for years in the country.

U SULE: This is the traditional conical ranch used by the Bri-Bri and Cabecar Shamans for the priests and social ceremonies for thousands of years. See the collection of crafts and antique objects saved at the ranch. Finally, you can visit their souvenir shop before returning to your ship.

Accessibility: Tour is ambulatory accessible. Guests must be able to take some steps and walk short distances. Graveled trails will present some degree of difficulty for wheelchairs and those with mobility difficulties.

Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum age - 6 years. Guests must be able to safely navigate graveled trails and extended walking outdoors.
