Guided Walk of Historic Town Center: Visit Limon's seaside park, Parque Vargas, boasting with palm trees, flowers, a quaint gazebo, historical monuments, and views of the ocean. From the shore you’ll see Uvita Island, where Christopher Columbus landed in 1502 and named the land Costa Rica, meaning Rich Coast.

Art Exhibit: Enjoy an informal art exhibit at Pasaje Cristal where you’ll meet local artists. Artists display paintings, sculptures, and other expressions of affordable art that can be purchased.

Calypso Music Show with Dancers: See a live band perform Calypso music with dancers. Feel free to dance to the Caribbean rhythm!

Cooking Class: Learn how to make rice and beans and taste favorites such as the delicious patty and the sweet pastry called “plantinta” made of tropical fruit. Get a glimpse of Limon’s history as your class is held at the Historic United Fruit Company Buidling, a building of historical and architectural significance as the home to the banana industry of yesteryear.

Shopping Time: After cooking, cross the street to find a large selection of souvenirs at the artisans’ market next to the ship.
