Veragua Rainforest (All-Access): Experience the full eco-adventure and day of discovery in the Veragua Rainforest – home to 585 butterflies, 808 beetles, 100 mammals, 80 reptiles, 68 amphibians, and 400 bird species.

Sky Gondola: Glide through the treetops on the Sky Gondola as your expert guide points out the wildlife that makes this one of the most biodiverse spots on the planet. Keep your camera ready for howler monkeys, sloths, toucans, and parrots!

Nature Trails: Choose an easy walk on the Trail of the Giants along the riverbank or choose a challenging path to the 60-foot cascading Puma Waterfall. Your guide will teach you about frogs and insects you’re likely to encounter.

Reptile Exhibit: Walk through a live reptile exhibit, learning about snakes and lizards.

Frog Exhibit: Enjoy an educational frog exhibit, where you’ll see frogs in environments replicating their habitats. See large bullfrogs, red-eye tree frogs, and tiny frogs smaller than a fingernail.

Butterfly Garden: Explore one of Costa Rica’s largest Butterfly Gardens, enchanted by hundreds of colorful butterflies flying around you.

Foundation for Rainforest Research: Gain insight into the reserve’s conservation efforts in a presentation by a biologist. Four new species have been discovered here, and Foundation staff are actively engaged in species monitoring. Your ticket contributes to research conducted in partnership with the University of Costa Rica!

Shopping Time: Enjoy time in the gift shop stocked with Costa Rican art and gifts including coffee, chocolate, t-shirts, hats, and Foundation logo items.

Accessibility: This tour is ambulatory accessible. Guests must be able to take a few steps to enter and exit the bus. Wheelchairs or scooters can be stored in the bus for use at venue.

Requirements & Restrictions: For safety reasons, pregnant women, and guests with back or neck injuries may not participate on this excursion due to bumpy gravel roads for short periods.
