Depart from the pier on a drive to Park of Nations where you will find the Oceanarium of Lisbon, known as the "Ocean's Pavillion" during EXPO 98 and one of the most popular attractions.
The Oceanarium is an impressive high construction, designed by the architect Peter Chermayeff, and is the second largest in the world, after Osaka, Japan. The central tank features a volume of water equal to six olympic-sized swimming pools. The Oceanarium aims to represent the five oceans’ own ecosystems (Pacific, Atlantic, Artic, Indian, and Southern) not only by its flora and fauna but also by its own environment including the right temperatures that visitors do feel during the visit. After the visit, stop at the funicular for a ride with views of the dramatic landscape of the river and city below. Finish the exploration with a possible stop at shopping centre and continue back to the pier.
