La Laguna & Taganana

Board your motor coach and ride past the Nautical School in Santa Cruz to the fishing village of San Andres. From there, you'll continue past Las Teresitas’, a mile-long beach and make a photo stop at El Bailadero. Then, you’ll ascend the foothills of the wild Anaga Mountains, home to some of the most scenic hiking trails in Europe. After the scenic hike, you'll go through a tunnel to the remote village of Taganana in the Mercedes Forest, the largest settlement in the Anaga Mountains. Taganana is famed for its vineyards, and during your visit, you'll get a chance to indulge in a wine-and-cheese tasting at a local restaurant. Continue to the old capital of La Laguna. The island’s old capital is a city of graceful colonial houses and convents dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries. It is home to the University of La Laguna and is the cultural and religious capital of the Canary Islands.
